احوال

awāl, s.m. (pl. of حال āl, but used as a sing.), State, condition; case; circumstances; state of affairs; affairs; events, occurrences; account:—awāl batānā, or lānā, awāl sunānā, and awāl kahnā(-kā, or apnā), To state (one's) case, condition, etc.; to give an account (of), tell the story (of), narrate the circumstances (of), etc.—awāl-pursī(also -purs, or -pursān), s.f. Inquiry after (one's) health, or affairs, or condition, etc.:—awālpūćhnā(-kā), To inquire after (one's) health, circumstances, etc.; to institute inquiry (into); to investigate.
