आड़ा āṛā[S. आ+वर+क], adj. (f. -ī), Interrupting, interposing; opposing; obstructive; cross, transverse, oblique, crooked:—āṛā-ṭeṛhā, adj. Cross, peevish; displeased:—āṛītāl, s.f. A sort of striking of the foot, a person's striking his extended foot on the ground whether whilst moving along or whilst standing still:—āṛī-ṭeṛhī, s.f.
