āmad [v.n. of āmadan; ā+Pehl. gmatan, rt. Zend gam = S. गम् ], s.m. Coming, approach, arrival; access; coming in, income; receipts;—adj. Coming naturally, natural, unartificial, not studied (opp. to āward); plain, simple:—āmad-āmad, s.f. The announcement of an arrival:—āmad-raft, āmad o raft, s.f. Coming and going; ingress and egress, communication, intercourse; passage, way, thoroughfare:—āmad-shud, āmad o shud, s.f.=āmad-raft:—āmad o ḵẖarć, Receipts and disbursements:—āmad-wālā, s.m.
