आिल āli, आली ālī, s.m. The bumble-bee; a scorpion (=ali);—s.f. A woman's female friend;—row, range, continuous line; bed (of flowers or vegetables); ridge, mound of earth crossing ditches or dividing fields (=meṅṛ), dike, embankment;—a land measure, equivalent to four bīsīs.
