آشا

आशा āśā, s.f. Wish, desire, etc.=آسا āsā, q.v.:—āśā-bandh, s.m. Confidence, trust, expectation; a spider's web:—āśā-bhang, s.m. Disappointment; despair;—adj. Disappointed:—āśā-prāpt, adj. Possessed of a hoped-for object;—s.m. One who has become so possessed, a successful man:—āśā-rahit, adj. Without hope, without expectation; hopeless:—āśā-hīn, adj. Hopeless, destitute of hope, despondent, despairing.
