आरणय āraṇya, s.m.=ارنیہ araṇya; adj. Forest, relating to a forest, forest-born, wild:—āraṇya-sabhā, s.f. Forest-court, a court for a community of hermits:—āraṇya-shasṭhī, s.f. A certain religious ceremony observed by women:—āraṇya-kāṇḍ, s.m. The title of the third book of the Rāmāyaṇ.
