आरती ārtī(for etym. see ārtā), s.f. A ceremony performed in adoration of a god by moving circularly around the head of the idol a platter containing a five-wicked burning lamp, flour and incense; a hymn of praise:—ārtīkarnā, ārtīlenā, To perform the ceremony of ārtī.
