यौवन yauvana, vulg. yauvan, s.m. Youth, youthfulness, bloom of youth, prime of life; puberty, adolescence, manhood;—an assemblage of young people (esp. of young women);—(met.) the breast (see joban):—yauvanāvasthā(˚na+av), s.f., or yauvan-daśā, s.f. State or condition or period of youth, youthfulness, puberty, adolescence:—yauvandarp, s.m. The pride of youth, rashness, juvenile indiscretion, or conceit:—yauvanastha, vulg. yauvanasth, adj. & s.m.
