यूं yūṅ, or यों yoṅ, (dialec.) यौं yauṅ[for एउँ=Ap. Prk. एवor एम्व=S. इयत् (Vedic ईवत् )], pron. adv. Thus, in this wise, in this manner;—just so, for no particular reason; without just ground, vainly, idly, causelessly, gratuitously; to please oneself:—yūṅ-to, adv. In this case;—generally speaking:—yūṅ-tūṅkarnā, v.t. (euphemistic) To abuse; to curse:—yūṅ-na-yūṅ, adv. One way or other; somehow or other;—in no wise:—yūṅ-hī, yoṅ-hī, or yūṅ-hīṅ, yoṅ-hīṅ, adv. In this very manner, exactly thus;—without any apparent cause or reason, causelessly, etc. (i.q. yūṅ, q.v.); by chance, accidently;—cursorily, easily:—yūṅ-hīsahī, adv. Be it so then; just as you please.
