wāhib (act. part. of وهب 'to give,' etc.), adj. & s.m. Liberal, generous, munificent;—a giver, bestower, granter:—wāhib-ě-be-minnat, adj. Disinterestedly liberal; who giveth liberally and upbraideth not (the Deity):—wāhibu`l-ḥājāt, Bestower of necessaries, i.e. God:—wāhibu`l-`at̤āyāor `at̤āyāt, Bestower of bounties, Giver of all gifts, i.e. God.
