हंडीं haṅḍī= H هنڈیا हंिडया haṅḍiyā[Prk. भंिडआ; S. भािण्डका, whence हिण्डका], s.f. A small earthen boiler or pot (i.q. hāṅḍī);—a relish:—haṅḍiyāpaknā, 'The pot to boil'; (meat, etc.) to be cooked; (a scheme, etc.) to be concocted:—haṅḍiyā ćaṛhnā, v.n. The pot to be put on (the fire); to earn;—to take bribes;—to fill one's pockets:—haṅḍiyāgarm honā, 'The pot to be hot or boiling'; to earn; to be making money fast; to take bribes:—haṅḍiyā-ḍo`ī, s.f. Pots and pans, cooking utensils.
