हां hāṅ(i.q. hūṅ, 'I am,' dialec. hauṅ, Panj. hāṅ), adv. & intj. Yes, aye; indeed, verily; by the by, forsooth:—hāṅ-jī, Yes, Sir; oh, assuredly!;—s.f. Servile or obsequious assent (to everything), obsequiousness:—hāṅ-jīkarnā, or hāṅ-jīhāṅ-jīkarnā, To say 'yes' (to everything), to approve and assent to with obsequiousness or adulation:—hāṅkahnā, To say 'yes,' to assent, agree, to yield:—hāṅ-meṅhāṅmilānā= hāṅ-jīhāṅ-jīkarnā:—hāṅ-hāṅ, adv.
