नाथ nāth, s.m. (f. -ā), Protector, patrou, master, lord; husband;—a common affix to the names of Hindūascetics (e.g. Gorakh-nāth):—nāth-vān, nāth-vat, or nāth-want (f. -vatī), adj. Having a protector, or master; having a husband; dependent, subject (to;—syn. nāthī).
