मुिठया muṭhiyā[muṭṭhī, q.v.+Prk. अओ=S. अ+कः], s.m. A handful;—the first handful of seed sown;—handle or stilt (of a plough, or other instrument);—the stick with which a cotton-carder strikes the string of his bow;—the thick end of a stick; a lump (of sugar);—the man who feeds the sugar-mill with the chopped sugar-cane:—muṭhiyāqalam, s.m. Stump of a pen, a very small pen.
