िमटना miṭnā(fr. the trans. meṭnā, q.v.), v.n. To be effaced, or obliterated, or expunged, or erased; to be abolished, or cancelled; to be appeased, or satisfied (as hunger, thirst, or revenge, etc.); to be destroyed, be annihilated;—to be lost in admiration (of, -par), be passionately in love (with);—to cease to exist, come to an end,become extinct, die out; to die, expire:—miṭ-jānā, v.n. intens. of and=miṭnā.
