mǒḥsin (act. part. of احسن 'to do good, to act well; to benefit,' iv of حَ سُنَ 'to be good, or comely,' etc.), adj. & s.m. Benefiting; obliging; beneficent, generous;—one who does good, or who is the causer of good, or of what is comely, etc.; one who obliges; a benefactor, a patron:—mǒḥsin-kush, adj. 'Benefactor-slaying,' ungrateful.
