qabr, vulg. qabar (inf. n. of قبر 'to bury'), s.f. Grave, tomb:—qabr-istān, s.m. Burying ground, graveyard, cemetery:—qabr-salāmī, s.f. Consideration or dues paid to a zamīndāror proprietor (by Muhammadans) for permission to dig a grave on ground belonging to him:—qabr-kan, s.m. Grave-digger:—qabr-ke murde ukhāṛnā, 'To dig up the dead from the grave'; to rake up old grie vances; to renew old quarrels:—qabr-gāh, s.f.=qabr-istānq.v.:—qabr-meṅpāoṅlaṭkānā, To have one foot in the grave, to be on the point of death.
