āminī, vulg. āmnī[āmin, q.v. + ī= Zend aff. i= S. इ], s.f. Guarantee, security, surety, bail; pledge:—āminī-par ćhonā(-ko), To release on bail, to admit to bail:—āminīqabūl karnā, or āminīmanzūr karnā(-kī), To accept the security or bail (of), to admit as bail:—anjīr-āminī, s.f. 'Chain-security,' a number of persons binding themselves severally or jointly for one another; joint responsibility (as of the cultivators of a village or district for the whole revenue thereof, or for money borrowed, etc.):—fě`l-āminī, s.f. Security for good conduct, or to keep the peace, etc.:—māl-āminī, s.f. Surety for the payment of any pecuniary obligation.
