irāt, s.f. A road, way;—name of the bridge over the midst of Hell across which good Moslems expect to pass into Paradise (it is said to be sharper than a sword and thinner than a hair):—irātu`l-mustaqīm, s.f. The right way, i.e. the Moammadan religion.
