ḵẖalq (inf. n. fr. خلق 'to create,' etc.), s.f. Creating;—creation; mankind; people:—ḵẖalqu`l-lāh, ḵẖalq-ě-ḵẖudā, God's creatures; people:—ḵẖalq karnā, v.t. To create:—ḵẖalq honā, v.n. To be created:—ḵẖair-ě-ḵẖalq, s.f. The good of people, or of the community; the public good or welfare.
