बघारना baghārnā[S. अवघषर् णीयं , rt. घृ ष् ], v.t. To brown onions and spices in heated oil or ghī, as a relish or seasoning for meat, etc.; to season (baghārnāconsists in heating oil or ghī, throwing in some onions and other seasonings, then stirring and rubbing the mixture rapidly till thoroughly browned, when the meat, etc. to be dressed is added, and the stirring continued).
