घृ त ghr̤ita, vulg. ghr̤it, s.m. Ghīor clarified butter;—ghr̤itākt (˚ta+akta), adj. Anointed with clarified butter, smeared with ghī:—ghr̤ita-kumārī, vulg. ghr̤it-kuwār, s.f. The plant Aloe indica (which is supposed to resemble a virgin in delicacy and elegance;—cf. ghīkuwār).
