वैतािलक vaitālik, s.f. A bard whose duty it is to awaken a chief or prince at dawn with music and song; a singer;—one who is possessed by a vetālor demon, the servant of a demon; the worshipper of a vetāl, one who has a vetālfor a familiar, a magician, conjurer.
