मूधर् न्य mūrdhanya, adj. Of or belonging to the head; coming from the head, cerebral;—s.m. The cerebral letters (viz. ऋ, ॠ, ट, ठ, ड, ढ, ण, र, ष; these letters are sometimes called linguals, in consequence of the essential and peculiar part which the tongue plays in the enunciation of them).
