مغیلان

mugīlān, vulg. mugailān (corr. fr. A. ﱡام غیلان ummu gīlān, 'the mother of goblins, or jinn'; gīlānbeing the pl. of gūl, q.v.), s.m. The Egyptian or Arabian thorn; a species of Mimosa or Acacia (syn. babūl; kīkar, which, as is the mugīlān, are believed to be haunted by evil spirits).
