mugannī(for A.  ﱟمغنmuganniṉ, act. part. of غنّی 'to sing, chant,' etc., ii of غنی 'to be content,' etc.), s.m. A singer; a musician;—part. adj. Making free from want; rendering in a state of competence, or rich, or independent.
