كرناٹك

कणार् टक karṇāṭak, and H. करनाटक karnāṭak, = S كرناٹ कणार् ट karṇāṭa, vulg. karṇāṭ,s.m. The country called the Carnatic (the name was anciently applied to the central districts of the peninsula, including Mysore);—karnāṭak, s.m. Players or jugglers from the Carnatic.
