Standing; erect, perpendicular; right;—stationary; stagnant; quiescent; firm, fixed, established; durable, lasting, perpetual, constant; stable; stedfast;—continuing, in force;—vigilant; attentive, persevering;—stopped, drawn (a game);—s.f. A drawn game (of chess, etc.):—qā`im uṭhnā, v.n. To be drawn (a game):—qā`imuz-zāwiya, adj. & s.m.
