سوت

सूत sūta, vulg. sūt (rt. sū), s.m. A charioteer, driver; a man of a mixed caste (the son of a Kshatriya father and Brāhman mother; his occupation is managing horses and driving cars); a rehearser of ancient legends, a bard, an encomiast;—a carpenter (syn. sūtra-dhār):—sūt-putr, s.m.
