High, elevated, lofty, exalted, eminent, sublime, noble, honourable, glorious; high, loud (in voice); fine, fine in texture (as cloth, etc.), delicate, thin:—rafī`u`sh-shān, adj. & s.m. Of exalted dignity;—a person of dignity, a nobleman of high rank:—rafī`u`l-qadr, adj. Of high estimation; eminent in power:—rafī`u`lmakān, adj. Of exalted station or rank.
