خس

ḵẖas, s.f. A fragrant grass, Andropogon muricatum (from the roots of which taṭṭīsare made); any useless herb or stick, rubbish of sticks or thorns:—ḵẖas-posh, adj. Covered over with thorns:—ḵẖas-ḵẖas, s.f. The sweetscented root of Andropogon muricatum:—ḵẖas-o-ḵẖār, ḵẖas-o-ḵẖāshāk, s.m. Sticks and straws, litter, rubbish.
