जङ्गम jangam, adj. & s.m. Moving, movable, locomotive; in motion; having motion (opp. to stationary), having life, living;—the animal kingdom; a wanderer; a wandering mendicant, a class of mendicants with matted hair, who wear a thin chain on their feet and carry a bell which they keep constantly ringing.
