جاگتا

जागता jāgtā(imperf. part. of jāgnā), adj. (f. -ī), Waking, awake; watching, vigilant; active, being in the full exercise of its power, virtue, or efficacy (as an idol, or a charm or spell, or a medicine, etc.);—s.m. One who is awake:—jāgti-jot (S. jāgrat-jyotis), adj. Possessed of or exerting miraculous powers (as an idol in the full exercise of its divinity, or a mantraor medicine of ready virtue or power):—jāgte rahnā, v.n. To remain or continue in a state of wakefulness, to keep awake.
