تہاڑا

ितहाड़ा tihāṛā[S. ऽयस् +कार+कः; or perhaps fr. tihāṛnā= tihrānā, q.v.], s.m. Division into three equal parts; a third part;—tihāṛā, s.m. or tihāṛe-kībaṭā`ī, s.f. A division of the produce into three equal parts, one of which goes to the proprietor of the land, and the other two to the cultivators.
