بوهنی

बोहनी bohnī[S. पूवर् +अन्ही], s.f. Handsel; first sale for ready money early in the day (considered as a good omen and as determining the luck of the day.—The etymology is doubtful: some trace the word to bhawānī, because ascribed to the auspices of that goddess; others derive it from the root vr̤idh).
