wājib (act. part. of وجب 'to be necessary,' etc.), adj. Necessary, obligatory, binding, incumbent (on); expedient; proper, worthy; convenient; fit, meet;—due, right, just, reasonable:—wājib thā'arẓkiyā,. It was right and proper (and so) I have represented or mentioned it (an expression used at the end of petitions):—wājib jānnāor samajhnā, v.t. To deem necessary, or incumbent, or right, etc.:—wājib samjho, Consider incumbent, or imperative, etc.; fail not:—wājibu`l-adā, adj. Necessary to be discharged (as duties, or debts, etc.); due; payable:—wājibu`l-iz̤hār, adj. Fit to be represented:—wājibu`t-taslīm, adj.
