िबंणु bishnu, िबंण bishṇ,िवषन bishan [S. िवंणु], s.m. A Hindūgod, the Deity in the character of Preserver:—bishn-pad (S. vishṇu+padya), s.m. A particular song in the name of Vishnu:—bishn-prīt, s.f. Land granted rent-free to Brāhmans in honour of Vishnu, or to maintain his worship:—bishn-prīt-dār, s.m. The holder of a bishn-prīt, or grant of land for religious purposes:—bishan-devā, s.m. A sect of mendicants who beg in the name of Vishnu.
