सहराना sahrānā, िसहराना sihrānā, सिहराना sahirānā[sihrā˚or sahrā˚= S. िशखर+ā= āw = Prk. āwe = S. āpi, caus. augment], v.n. To bristle; to have the hairs stand erect (from joy or fright, etc.); to thrill (with delight, etc.);—to shudder, shiver (=siharnā), shake, quake;—v.t. To rub gently, to stroke, tickle, titillate (=sahlānā); to weary, tire; to harass, tease.
