ćaddar (P. ćādar, ćadar; prob. akin to S. छद्), s.f. A sheet, etc. (=ćādar, q.v.):—ćaddar-andāzī, s.f. Throwing a sheet over the bride and bridegroom, a marriage ceremony among the Sikhs when a man marries a widow:—ćaddar bićhānā, To lay the cloth:—ćaddar-ćhupauwal, s.m. A boy's game:—ćaddar-nićoṛ, A slight shower, sufficient to wet the ćaddar.
