डेरा ḍerā= H ڈیرہ डेरा ḍera (see derā), s.m. Tent, marquee, pavilion, temporary dwelling; abiding place, dwelling, house:—ḍerāpaṛnāor ḍere parnā, To be encamped:—deredār, adj. Having a fixed abode, well-to-do (as a courtezan, etc.):—ḍerā ḍālnā, To pitch a tent; to encamp; to take up (one's) abode; to tarry, linger, loiter, delay:—ḍerākhaṛākarnā, To erect or pitch a tent; to encamp:—ḍerākhaṛāhonā, v.n. Tent to be pitched;—to be encamped:—ḍere-wāl, adj.=ḍere-dār, q.v.
