ढेर ḍher[Prk. हेरु; S. धेरः], adj. & s.m.f.(?), Much, abundant, ample, enough;—collection, accumulation; heap, mound, pile, stack; a large quantity, abundance, plenty;—gummy excretion of the eyes:—ḍher-sā, s.m. A large quantity, a great deal, abundance, (vulg.) heaps, lots:—ḍher rahnā, v.n. To remain or lie in a heap or as a heap, to lie dead, be slain (=ḍher ho-jānā):—ḍher karnāor kar-denā(-kā), To make a heap or pile (of), to pile, store, to accumulate, amass; to make a lifeless mass (of), make a corpse (of), to kill:—ḍher ho-jānā, v.n.
