चीं ćīṅ, चें ćeṅ[S. िचत् ; or onomat.], s.f. Cry, squeak, chirp (of birds); chatter, murmur, etc.:—ćīṅbulānā(caus. of next), To cause to squeal, to make (one) cry out, etc.:—ćīṅbolnā, v.n. To cry out, to squeal; to utter a cry of helplessness or humility, etc., to confess oneself beaten:—ćīṅ-paṛākh, ćīṅ-ćapaṭ, s.f. Impudence, insolence:—ćīṅ-ćīṅkarnā, ćeṅ-ćeṅ karnā, v.n. To chirrup, to chatter; to cry out, to squeal; to murmur, grumble.
