छरी ु ćhurī[Prk. छिरआ ु =S. क्षुिरका], s.f. A knife; a dagger; a scalpel:—ćhurī-tale dam lenā, 'To take breath under the knife'; to be patient in the midst of difficulties, etc.:—ćhurī-kaṭārī, s.f. Fighting with knives, snick and snee;—daggers-drawn, deadly enemies:—ćhurīmārnā(-ko), To stab:—mīṭhī ćhurī, s.f. 'A sweet knife'; cold steel;—one who, with a smooth face, effects the ruin of another; a secret enemy.
