चूं ćūṅ(onomat.), s.f. A slight or low noise or sound; squeaking, a squeak; creaking; the sound of breaking wind:—ćūṅ-ćāṅ, ćūṅ-ćūṅ, ćūṅ-ćahāṭ, s.f. Creaking; squeaking; chirruping, chirrup (of birds, grasshoppers, etc.); twittering, twitter; warbling, song, voice:—ćūṅ-ćūṅ, s.f. A squeaking toy:—ćūṅ-kārā, s.m. Making a suppressed sound or noise; the sound of breaking wind:—ćūṅ-kārāmārnā, To break wind:—ćūṅ na karnā, To make not the slightest noise, to remain perfectly quiet.
