ćuqandar, ćuqundar, s.m. Beet-root, beet, Beta vulgaris. ? چك चक ćak[Prk. चक्कं; S. चबं], s.m. Landed property, estate, tenure, holding, farm; a piece of assigned land, a patch of rent-free land; a subdivision of land (as of a pargana, etc.); detached fields of a village; cultivation:—ćakbarār, s.m. Collecting the rent of a ćak:—ćakbast, adj. Having an estate, etc. marked out; having the fields, etc. of a village marked out (in a village map):—ćak-bandī, s.f.
