फड़ phaṛ[S. ूसर; or पिरसर], s.f. A place of public business or of public resort; a place where goods in quantity are exposed for inspection or sale; a mart, exchange, etc.; a gambling-house (esp. where dice are played);—the shafts or pole of a carriage; a gun-carriage; the stand of a great gun:—phaṛ-bāz, s.m. A gamester, gambler; swaggerer, prater, talkative fellow:—phaṛ-bāzī, s.f. Gambling, playing at dice;—phaṛ-pe rakhnā, phaṛ-pe lagānā, v.t. To wager, to stake.
