pashm, vulg. pasham (S. पशुरोम), s.m. Hair, wool, fur, down; the pubes; anything insignificant or of no moment, anything worthless:—pashm-par mārnā, v.t. To be perfectly contented and independent of; to despise, disregard:—pashm samajhnā, v.t. To regard as insignificant, etc., to despise:—pashm na ukhaṛnā, v.n. 'Not a hair to be pulled out'; to suffer nothing from the enmity of another, to be unruffled (said in great contempt of an adversary).
