ूितज्ञा prati-gyā(S. prati-jnā), s.f. Admission, acknowledgement; assent; solemn declaration, agreement, engagement, promise, vow; statement, assertion, affirmation, declaration, allegation; (in logic) a proposition, the assertion to be proved, the first of the five members of a complete syllogism (according to the Nyāya system); (in law) a plaint, complaint, indictment:—pratigyā-bodhak, adj.
