puḵẖta [perf. part. of puḵẖtan; rt. Zend pać; S. pać], part. adj. Dressed, cooked; baked (as brick, etc.); ripe, matured, mature; shrewd, knowing, expert. skilful, wise; firm, strong, solid well-built, of brick or stone, of masonry (syn. pakkā—puḵẖta-kārī, s.f. Ripeness, maturity; firm, or sound, or solid workmanship:—puḵẖta karnā, v.t. To ripen; to make firm or strong; to make shrewd or knowing:—puḵẖta-mizāj, adj. Of mature disposition, firm, experienced:—puḵẖta-mizājī, s.f. Firmness, constancy, stability.
