ठीकरा ṭhīkrā(i.q. ṭukṛā), s.m. A broken piece of earthenware, a large potsherd, a shard; a vessel for holding fire (such as faqīrsuse,—usually the lower half of an earthen pitcher);—an earthen vessel for holding filth, etc.; a broken vessel or ornament; a dilapidated house; houses and lands:—ṭhīkrāphoṛnā(-kā), (fig.) To slander, to defame;—rozī-kā ṭhīkrā, kamāne-kā ṭhīkrā, s.m. The tools, instruments, or means by which one lives.
